“being you being me being me being you” (in collaboration with Abbie Coombs) is a transformative performance project that began on January 31, 2024, and far surpassed its initial five-day duration. Two women, strangers before this endeavor, swapped lives: one traveled to London to become Abbie, while the other went to Ljubljana to become Iva. This act of blind trust unearthed a deep, unexpected bond, exploring themes of identity, connection, sisterhood, and compassion. The profound experience has left a lasting impact on both participants, initiating a personal transformation that they are still processing. Through their processing of the documentation, Abbie and Iva continue to unpack the emotional and artistic complexities of their shared journey, when Abbie was Iva, and Iva was Abbie.
